Angel, our founder, had dragged home a forgotten FC RX-7 — a second-generation chassis that had been sitting longer than anyone could remember, its rotary silent under layers of dust. The first attempt to revive it was ambitious and ultimately humbling. An apex seal let go at the worst possible moment. The kind of failure that sends an engine to the scrap pile and a builder back to square one.
The Garage Where It Started
The garage went quiet. The fluorescent lights stayed off. For a week, the only thing in that bay was the weight of everything that went wrong.
But determination is a rotary thing — it spins, or it doesn't. Angel wasn't done. The second attempt was different. Not just wrenching harder — learning smarter. Through great friends who showed up unannounced with tools and takeout, new relationships forged over late-night parts runs across three states, and insightful mentors who'd forgotten more about 13Bs than most people would ever know, Angel scraped together a machine that made all the right noises. That rising, spinning wail that no piston engine could replicate. A bridge-ported 13B at full chat isn't just a sound. It's a declaration. And once you've heard it, you don't go back.
Throughout this process, there was always a shortage — of parts availability, of shared knowledge, of a centralized place to make magic happen. The permanent scent of premix soaked into every surface of that garage. A drop cord swinging over an engine bay at 2 AM because sleep could wait — the timing couldn't.
Angel had been wrenching since he was thirteen. Street racing culture took hold early: building, breaking, fixing, rebuilding. The rotary engine had him from the first bridge-ported scream he heard echoing off a warehouse wall. Late nights blurred into early mornings. Busted knuckles. 10mm sockets that vanished into another dimension. The kind of weekends where the garage door didn't close until the engine fired clean and the idle settled into that unmistakable rotary lope — choppy enough to turn heads, smooth enough to live with.

Built Out of Necessity
Here's the thing about the FC RX-7 and the rotary community: it's small, passionate, and perpetually underserved.
Quality parts were scarce. Too much of what existed felt like it was made by people who'd never actually torn down a 13B at midnight — generic tolerances, questionable materials, parts that treated the rotary like an afterthought instead of the engineering marvel it is. And the knowledge? Scattered across dead forums, disappearing Facebook groups, and old-timers whose wisdom was one retirement away from being lost forever. There was no centralized hub. No single place where an FC owner — or any rotary enthusiast — could find quality parts, trusted knowledge, and people who actually understood what happens inside that engine at 9,000 RPM.
So Angel started machining his own. A small batch of rebuild components built to standards that honored the engine, not just the aftermarket catalog. Ported housings. High-carbon apex seals. Gaskets that actually sealed. Parts made by someone who understood what happens inside a rotary at redline — because he'd been there, with a timing light in one hand and a prayer in the other.

The Name
The name came late one night in the Valley. After a meet. FC owner and GS300 owner. Pure automotive enthusiast. He started street racing at the age of 13 and 27 years later still has the same drive and passion to build unique and interesting cars and bikes. He is the goto guy for figuring out how to make things work in any scenario.
